NEW YORK (WKOW) -- Wyclef Jean plead for international aid to help evacuate his homeland of Haiti.
The Haitian-born musician and Grammy Award-winning artist made a tear-ful call for action Monday in New York.
He wants international funding to help develop tent cities to house 100,000 people on each side of Port-au-Prince.
Wyclef has raised more than $2 million through The Wyclef Jean Foundation, Inc. The group is also known as Yele Haiti.
