FITCHBURG (WKOW)-- Organizers hope dance/exercise craze will draw people to help area families affected by autism.
"So many people love Zumba!" said Deborah Gillitzer, owner of Dance On Air, a competitive and social ballroom and Latin dance studio. "Different Zumba instructors from the area are donating their time and energy to lead songs throughout the event. "We're delighted to be doing this for such an important cause that affects so many people's lives."
The even is January 30th from 11am to 2pm at Dance On Air in Fitchburg. Cost is $5. All proceeds go to the Autism Society of Greater Madison.
The Autism Society of Greater Madison (ASGM) has been supporting families affected by autism and the professionals who assist them since 1969. Their mission is to improve the lives of those affected by autism in the greater Madison community through social/networking activities and education.
Dance On Air is located at 2960 Triverton Prike Drive in Fitchburg, on Hwy PD/McKee Rd (near Fish Hatchery Rd).
