OGDEN, Utah (WKOW) -- Spending more time in jail is one Utah man's choice to fight his heroin addiction.
Damon Conrow asked to have his charges "plead up" to a first-degree felony on possesion charges with the intent to distribute. The charges would have been second-degree felony but he wanted a longer sentence.
Conrow thinks he'll be happier now, because he'll be foreced to get off heroin. Within eight weeks of going to jail, he expects to have withdrawal symptoms.
