UNDATED (WKOW) -- A southeast Wisconsin company is doing its part to help the people of Haiti.
Lakeside Foods of Belgium is donating more than 1,900 cases of canned green beans to help feed earthquake victims.
"If we can help, we try to. We're hoping by doing this, other local area companies will can help and do their part, too, and see if there's anything they can send their way to help the people of Haiti," said company spokeswoman Janice Scott.
Two truck loads full of the vegetables left the warehouse on Friday. The food is headed to Missouri to connect with a convoy on its way to Haiti.
