NEW YORK (WKOW) -- A Picasso painting at the Metropolitan Museum of Art was accidentally damaged by a visitor.
The museum said a woman participating in an art class lost her balance and fell on the painting Friday afternoon.
"The Actor," of Picasso's rose period, got a six inch tear in the lower-right hand corner of the canvas, but workers at "The Met" say it will be repaired in time for an exhibition of the artist in April.
The Met has owned "The Actor" since 1952.
