PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI (WKOW) -- A day after a UN food distribution turned violent in Port-Au-Prince, earthquake survivors say the help is good but the way they are doing it is bad.
On Tuesday, Brazilian UN peacekeeping troops were able to distribute the food without issue.
Monday, however, it turned into a riot as people started grabbing for food.
The desperation boiled over and Uruguayan UN Peacekeepers had to fire pepper spray into the air to disperse people.
More than five tons of food were distributed today.
