MADISON (WKOW) -- Medical supplies are in desperate need in Haiti and a Middleton doctor is on her way to bring more aid.
Doctor Elizabeth Prittz left for the Dominican Republic on Friday morning.
Her two adopted kids from Haiti helped her check in.
She is bringing four bags with her. Three full of medical supplies and antibiotics, the other full of teddy bears.
Prittz says she hopes the toys bring comfort to the most vulnerable, the children.
"You hear about the orphans hiding in the bushes. No one can take care of them. That's what worries me because of my kids," Prittz says.
Prittz has been to Haiti on medical missions a dozen times.
She will be joining other medical professionals with Family Health Ministries.
