PARK CITY, Utah (WKOW) -- Top honors at the Sundance Film Festival went to two American films, "Winter's Bone" and "Restrepo."
"Winter's Bone" is an Ozark Mountains drama about a 17-year-old uncovering the fate of her father among criminal clans in the mountains. It earned the grand jury prize for American dramas.
"Restrepo" won the U.S. documentary prize. It chronicles the lives of American platoon fighting in Afghanistan.
