MARSHALL (WKOW) -- High school wrestling may be nearing an end to their season, but the younger wrestlers around the state have a lot of fight left.
Well over a hundred wrestlers as young as five were in Marshall recently to take part in the "Fear the Bird" wrestling tournament.
For the younger kids, wrestling is really not about winning. It's about learning the sport and trying to develop their skills.
Coaches say they only teach their young wrestlers 5 or 6 moves to help them learn the basics.
The kids like earning their medals and trophies, but all agree the best part of wrestling is the same thing.
"The moves," they agree.
