MADISON (WKOW ) -- Bishop Robert Morlino calls the generosity of parishes "remarkable."
In the last month, The Diocese of Madison reports $453,989 has been collected for the on-going relief efforts in Haiti. That money is being given to Catholic Relief Services
"Thank you all for your overwhelming generosity in giving of your spiritual and material goods in order to aid our sisters and brothers in Haiti. People from all corners of the diocese: parishes, schools, as well as individuals and groups, Catholic and non-Catholic, have, together, contributed $453,989.67 for the great work of Catholic Relief Services. I am certain too, that your prayers have been just as generous." - Bishop Robert Morlino.
Those who still wish to contribute to this disaster relief can do so through any local Catholic parish, or online at http://www.madisondiocese.org/
