MADISON (WKOW) -- Bella's Hair Salon on Madison's west side held a fundraiser Sunday to raise money for rescue efforts in Haiti.
Employees at Bella's hosted Hearts for Haiti and donated all of their proceeds and tips to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund.
It wasn't the first time the salon raised money for a good cause, but the owner says the quake in Haiti really moved them to donate more.
"It's a great way to help others," said Bella's co-owner Christine Lucas, "Everybody's been really positive and happy to come in and just do whatever they can to pitch in."
Bella's also donated money from sales of boxed chocolates.
