CHICAGO (WKOW) -- The Illinois DNR along with federal wildlife services are fishing for the dreaded Asian Carp.
Twenty commercial fishermen and biologists started trolling parts of the Chicago Canal on Wednesday with nets and boats equipped with electric prods.
Crews searched for carp that may have breached electric fish barriers.
They're looking in areas near factories where the water is warmer.
The search yielded plenty of fish, but no Asian Carp.
They'll look for two to three more weeks.
