MADISON (WKOW) -- More local donations for earthquake victims in Haiti. This time the focus is on shelter.
Tents and tarps were dropped off at Group Health Cooperative on Madison's west side.
Those donations will be heading to Haiti next week.
There is a big lack of shelter in the country and with Spring approaching, a big worry is rain.
"Most of what they're sheltered under is cotton and they're expecting a lot of people to get wet and lose all the belongings that they have," said organizer Bonnie Sommers-Olson.
There is still time to donate, you can drop off your tents and tarps at Group Health Cooperative until Thursday.
The drive is also taking crutches. All donations are tax deductible.
