MADISON (WKOW) -- More than a dozen UW students are safe and accounted for following Saturday's earthquake in Chile.
Most of the UW students are part of an international academic program, others are studying the South American country with their respective schools at the UW.
The UW says its in touch with the parents of the students in Chile.
Meantime, there are 26 Chilean students studying at the UW this semester. No word on if any of their families have been affected by the quake.
