MIDDLETON (WKOW)-- Toothbrushes and teddy bears are on their way to help those in Haiti.
Students from the Deerfield High School National Honor Society dropped off garbage bags filled with teddy bears, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Middleton Doctor Dave Olive will bring the donations with him on his medical mission to Haiti.
"I'm particularly interested in bringing these stuffed animals to the kids, because many of them have lost everything," said Dr. David Olive. "They have absolutely nothing. It means a lot to a child to have something, even a stuffed animal."
Doctor Olive and his wife adopted two daughters from Haiti a year ago. He leaves Saturday to head back to the country and help provide much needed medical care.
Dr. Olive is part of the organization called Family Health Ministries.
