Packers reportedly reach deal with Clifton

ESPN is reporting the Packers have re-signed left tackle Chad Clifton to a 3-year deal that includes $7.5 million guaranteed.

Adam Schefter tweeted the news around 7:00 Thursday night. He reports the deal is for 3 years and $20 million, again with 7 and a half million guaranteed.

The 33-year-old Clifton officially became a free agent at 11:00 Thursday night. He reportedly visited with the Washington Redskins earlier Friday before agreeing to a deal with the Packers on Friday evening.
