LOS ANGELES (WKOW) -- Officials in Los Angeles have confirmed the death of actor Corey Haim at the age of 38.
The Los Angeles coroner's office says the actor died at 2:15 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. She said an autopsy will determine the cause of death and would not release any other details at this time.
Some news outlets are reporting Haim's death was due to an accidental drug overdose.
Haim, who has struggled with drug addition in the past, was a staple in such classic 1980s films as The Lost Boys, License to Drive and Lucas.
He recently starred with pal Corey Feldman in the A&E reality series "The Two Coreys."
