MADISON (WKOW) -- Kids between the ages of 3 and 10 got a free safety lesson Saturday courtesy of Madison College and the Madison Fire Department.
Kids got to climb on board fire trucks and learn about the dangers of fire and poisons.
"A three-year-old, you tell them not to play with matches and that sticks with them. And a lot of times adults never told them that. And they do listen to it. And it could save their lives," said David Ianne with the fire department.
The event was free to the public.
