Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Genesis inducted into Rock Hall
NEW YORK (WKOW) -- British rockers, a reggae superstar and a group of Swedish hitmakers celebrated music with their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at a ceremony in New York City Monday night.
Among the inductees were The Hollies and Genesis, along with Iggy Pop and the Stooges, ABBA and Jimmy Cliff.
Two of the four members of ABBA were on hand to accept the honor and took the stage to perform "The Winner Takes It All" with country star Faith Hill.
Cheering from the audience was actress Meryl Streep. She starred in the "Mamma Mia!" movie, which has helped keep ABBA's music in the public consciousness following the band's 1982 breakup.
