WASHINGTON (WKOW)--Pressure and tension are building on Capitol Hill as Democratic leaders push for a vote on health care reform this week.
House Democrats still appear to be short of the 216 votes they need to pass health care legislation. But Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius says she's confident they'll get them.
Speaking to reporters in Chicago, Sebelius says she's expecting the vote to come either Friday or Saturday.
The head of the Catholic Health Association says the health care bill as written now "meets the test of no federal funding for abortion."
Sister Carol Keehan met with President Barack Obama today. Catholic hospitals support the bill.
