MADISON (WKOW) -- Simply Manufacturing Inc., will receive $65,000 in tax credits from the Economic Development Tax Credit Program from the Department of Commerce to purchase and renovate a facility in Prairie du Sac.
"One of my top priorities is to help move companies and communities forward and create good-paying jobs for our citizens," said Governor Jim Doyle. "I'm pleased that we could assist Simply Manufacturing, Inc. in bringing new jobs to Sauk County."
Doyle announced the tax credits on Wednesday. Simply Manufacturing, Inc. specializes in making stainless steel parts for meat-processing and food-service industries. The company will use the money to buy a 34,000-square-foot facility. The new building will help the company expand, create 13 new jobs over the next three years and help save 15 other jobs. The total project will cost $1.785 million.
