MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Health officials in the Milwaukee area are pointing to a decorative water feature as the cause of an outbreak of Legionnaire's disease at a hospital in Cudahy.
Aurora Health Care shut down the waterfall at St. Luke's South Shore as well as about five other facilities in the state.
At least eight people contracted the rare respiratory illness over the weekend. WTMJ radio reports two of the patients who contracted Legionnaire's in the last several weeks remain hospitalized.
A state health official says other hospitals with waterfalls should consider turning them off as well.
