VERONA (WKOW) -- A weekend consignment sale is keeping children's clothing "Just Between Friends".
The event featured around 20,000 items including kids' clothing, toys, books, and maternity wear.
Organizers say there are two financial benefits -- the consigners take in some cash, while shoppers keep more of it in their pocket.
"With the economy the way it is today, everybody is looking to stretch their dollar and here you can find items that have a lot of life left in them and are gently used and you may be able to get them for a fraction of what you may pay for them new," said Teri Anderson.
And if something didn't sell, the consigners have the option of donating their items to a charity in Dodgeville.
