Man rescued from laundry chute

WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WKOW) --  A dare gone wrong: authorities say a 20-year-old in central Wisconsin took a dare from some kids and slid down a laundry chute.

But then he got stuck with his legs.. dangling out below!

Officials got to the home Saturday to find the man's legs hanging out from chute in basement. A local newspaper reports the man's chest was wedged in the chute and he was having trouble breathing.

Authorities couldn't pull him up the chute.. or down, so they eventually had to use a saw to cut a hole in the wall and pull the man to safety.

Wisconsin Rapids Senior Patrol Officer Roy Woyak says in his 30 years on the job, it's the first time he's had to save someone from a laundry chute.
