MADISON (WKOW) -- If you don't have a passport or need to get it renewed, you may want to do so soon.
Prices are expected to increase in April, which is why Madison's main post office on the west side held a "passport fair" on Saturday.
Nearly 100 people submitted applications. The goal was to get as many passports made or renewed before the cost rises.
"If you want to get your passport, go to any of our post offices in Madison. To pick up a form, you'll need your certified birth certificate and pictured driver's license," said Karen Cronin of the U.S. Postal Service.
Passport fees are expected to go up between 35 and 75 percent. For example, renewals will go from $75 to $110.
