ZumbaThon fundraiser April 30 benefits Middleton boy battling brain tumor
MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- A Zumbathon fundraiser planned for Friday, April 30 will benefit a Middleton 3rd grade boy battling a brain tumor.
Carlos, 8, is a student at Sauk Trail Elementary School. He was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Supporters contacted Madison Area ZumbaThon Coordinators, Jill Budde and Joe Lee, who recently planned several successful Zumbathon fundraisers for various organizations. Budde and Lee immediately wanted to help out.
Zumba is a popular form of exercise dance, rooted in Latin and other International rhythms. Twenty instructors from all over Wisconsin will be helping at this event.
When: Friday, April 30, 2010 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Registration is at 5:30 p.m. The Zumba dancing is from 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Where: Sauk Trail Elementary School, 2205 Branch Street in Middleton
What: Zumbathon fundraiser. The cost is only $5, but other donations are greatly appreciated.
