MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- The Catholic Church's child sex abuse scandal prompted an Easter Sunday outburst in Milwaukee.
It came near the end of a morning service at the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist. Archbishop Jerome Listecki was delivering a sermon centered around life when an unidentified man walked in front of the parishioners.
He spoke about atrocities and punishment and was then escorted out. The man did not return and the rest of the mass proceeded without incident.
The archbishop addressed the interruption after the service. He said he hopes people who are distressed will find peace through prayer.
