MADISON (WKOW) -- The Celebrate Children Foundation is touring the state and raising money to improve early childhood care and education in Wisconsin.
Organizers will visit six cities in the next few months.
Part of the improvements include a certificate program through the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
It's called the Infant, Early Childhood, And Family Mental Health Certificate.
Leaders of the Celebrate Children Foundation say programs like this will help child development from birth to age five.
"Birth to five education is critical for all kinds of great reasons," said Executive Vice President of Celebration of Children Foundation Jim Leonhart, "and we think more and more resources should be dedicated from wherever to reinforce this as a necessary thing."
