MADISON (WKOW) -- A senate hearing is being held Thursday that proposes raising the age a person could be charged in adult civil or municipal court from 17 to 18.
Right now, anyone 17 or older who is alleged to have violated a civil law or municipal ordinance can be treated as an adult. A senate committee will hold a hearing on this on Thursday.
