Clouds keep Discovery in orbit; next landing attempt Tues.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (WKOW) -- Mission Control in Florida has decided to keep the space shuttle in orbit for another day.

The sky cleared slightly Monday morning but clouds took over again and pockets of rain remained, forcing NASA officials to skip both landing opportunities.

The next attempt to bring Discovery and its seven astronauts home will come shortly after sunrise Tuesday, when better weather is expected. If clouds persist in Florida, Mission Control can try for a landing site in California.

The Discovery crew is wrapping up a two-week mission to the International Space Station.
