NEENAH (WKOW) -- Fourteen Wisconsin teenagers are among the millions of travelers stranded in Europe.
Students with the Neenah High School French Club were supposed to return to school Monday from their two week trip but are stuck in Paris.
While they say they're making the most of their time by doing more sight-seeing, they're beginning to miss home
In a voicemail to her family this afternoon, Sydney Hoeper explains backlogged flights and another possible eruption could delay their departure even further.
"I could hear it in her voice," said Amy Hoeper, the mother of 16-year-old stuck in France, "I mean you could just tell they were so ready to leave and then now it's another small set back."
The group is hoping to get a flight back on Wednesday.
