DETROIT (WKOW) -- General Motors plans to announce it will repay its remaining $4.7 billion in U.S. Government loans sooner than expected.
GM said during its fourth quarter earnings announcement, earlier this month, that it plans to repay the money by June -- that's five years ahead of schedule.
GM got $52 billion in government aid, of that $6.7 billion is considered loans.
