NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (WKOW) -- Haiti's national soccer team is training in the Lone Star State after the country's devastating earthquake three months ago.
The quake made it impossible for them to practice in Port-au-Prince, so the team moved to New Braunfels, Texas to train for their May 5 game against soccer power-house Argentina.
A nonprofit group, San Antonio Sports, organized the trip for the Haitian soccer federation.
Players say a victory against Argentina is badly needed to lift Haitian spirits.
