BRANFORD, Conn. (WKOW) -- A gunman police say killed a Yale University doctor is in custody.
Police in Connecticut says the deadly shooting of 34-year-old Vajinder Toor early Monday was not random, and may have started with a dispute between the men at the New York hospital where they both worked.
Toor was killed in the parking lot of his condominium complex by a man who also fired at his pregnant wife. She was not injured.
Police plan to charge the gunman with murder and attempted murder but have not released his name.
Toor worked at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in New York before joining Yale. Morgan says police are investigating whether Toor and the gunman had "some sort of negative interaction" on the job.
