MADISON (WKOW) -- Bike racers took over part of an eastside neighborhood in Madison on Sunday while pedaling for a good cause.
The cyclists converged on Williamson Street for the "Wheels on Willy" bicycle races.
It's the 23rd year of the event.
Proceeds benefit Luke House -- a program to help feed those in need.
Organizers say it's a positive event that's also pretty competitive.
Race director Dave Supple describes it as "very high speed, very close-type racing where you're very close to one another... European Tour de France-style racing. And it's very energetic and exciting."
Wheels on Willy also gave away free helmets to kids.
