MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Capitol will be lit up mustard yellow this week in honor of the late founder of Brat Fest, Tom Metcalfe.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports that Brat Fest organizers have arranged to change the color of the exterior lighting of the Capitol dome to that of their favorite condiment.
The lighting will change on Tuesday and will last for two weeks. The nonprofit is paying the $1,800 tab.
Brat Fest runs May 28-31 in downtown Madison. The nonprofit event raises money for more than 85 charities.
Since October, the Capitol lighting has changed four times: blue for Child Abuse Prevention Month, orange for National Organ Donation Month, red for National Heart Month and pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
