EL CENTRO, Calif. (WKOW) -- An earthquake rattled parts of southern California and northern Mexico Monday night.
The U.S. Geological Survey estimated the earthquake's magnitude at 5.1. It was centered about 18 miles west-southwest of El Centro.
That's much smaller than the magnitude 7.2 quake that hit the region April 4.
An Imperial County Sheriff's Department dispatcher says there have been no immediate reports of damage.
