NEW YORK (WKOW) -- The three American mothers who've made it their mission to get their children released from an Iranian jail are back home now after a gut-wrenching journey to Iran.
While there, they had the chance to hug and talk to their children for the first time in nearly a year.
It was an emotional reunion for 3 American hikers imprisoned in Iran and their mothers.
The first time since they've seen Shane Bauer, Sarah Shourd and Josh Fattal since their arrest in July for crossing the Iranian border.
Despite renewed claims from Iran that the 3 are spies, they have never been charged with anything. The three say they remain hopeful they will get out of jail.
