MADISON (WKOW) -- For the month of May, visitors who buy a weekday ticket at one of nine historic sites get a free pass to any other site.
The Wisconsin Historical Society sites include the Wisconsin Historical Museum in Madison, Circus World in Baraboo and the stagecoach-era Wade House in Sheboygan County.
The pass is good throughout 2010.
Alicia Goehring runs the state's historic sites and museums. She says the promotion will make it easier for visitors to experience even more of the state's history.
Other sites included in the promotion are the Victorian-era Villa Louis in Prairie du Chien and Pendarvis, a 19th century mining town in Mineral Point.
