Meeting to discuss Beltline/Fish Hatchery improvements
MADISON (WKOW)-- The public will have a chance to weigh in on improvements to the west Beltline and Fish Hatchery Road interchange.
The meeting is Wednesday, June 16th from 5 to 7pm at Engineering Operations building at 1300 Emil Street in Madison.
WisDOT is proposing to reconstruct portions of the Fish Hatchery Road interchange immediately north of the Beltline.
Proposed improvements include reconstruction of entrance and exit ramps, and realignment of the frontage road northwest of the interchange. The Fish Hatchery Road bridge will be raised to provide adequate clearance over the highway. The bridge will also be widened to better accommodate pedestrians and bicyclists.
Construction is currently scheduled for 2012/2013.
