LOS ANGELES (WKOW) -- Michael Jackson's doctor heads to court on Monday fighting to keep his medical license.
Dr. Conrad Murray is due in court for a pretrial hearing, which will mainly focus on a motion from the attorney general's office to suspend Murray's medical license in the state of California.
Murray's lawyer says Murray does not practice in the state and must be able to work in order to pay for his defense attorneys.
Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor is expected to rule on the issue Monday and set a date for Murray's preliminary hearing.
Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jackson.
