Sandy from Sun Prairie asks: While watching the weather segment on the news broadcast, you report the dew point which to me is a good indication of the humidity. However, when looking at them current information online the dew point is not used. Is there a reason the dew point is not given online?
Answer: Thanks for watching! I don't believe there is any reason dew point is omitted from our web site; other than for the fact that relative humidity might be a more common unit for most people. There are many places to get current surface observations with dew points, and some of those links can be found under our "Weather Geek" page.
