MONTCOAL, W.Va. (WKOW) -- On Monday, inspection teams are expected to continue searching the West Virginia coal mine where 29 men died in April.
Massey Energy says teams will return to the Upper Big Branch mine to make sure the mine is safe for investigators to begin looking for clues to the April 5 explosion, the industry's worst U.S. disaster in 40 years.
On Friday, Massey and the federal Mine Safety and Health Administration found two small spots where coal was on fire, but extinguished them.
