Community notified about release of sex offender in Town of Middleton
MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office is encouraging citizens from the town of Middleton to attend a community notification meeting regarding the release of Charles Patterson.
A Core Team evaluates and makes decisions on the level of notification to the community for the release of sex offenders under Wisconsin Statutes 301.45 and 301.46.
The Core Team will be holding a Community Notification meeting on Tuesday, June 29 at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Town of Middleton Town Hall, 7555 W. Old Sauk Rd., Verona. At this meeting we will be offering information about the Community Notification Law and the release of Charles Patterson.
A photo of Charles Patterson will be available at this meeting, as well as more detailed information regarding his offense. Information about protective behaviors and personal safety in our community will also be discussed.
