MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police say a man went into the Summit Credit Union on Cottage Grove Road and handed the teller a note "demanding money and no one would get hurt."
The man implied that he had a gun, but witnesses did not see a gun. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of $50 bills and $100 bills. The suspect said "thank you" and quietly walked out the Credit Union.
There was a time delay in the call due to another call dispatched to the Town of Madison. This call was mistaken for the robbery. A K-9 track was conducted but the man was not found.
The suspect is described as a black man about 5'8'', 140-150 lbs., wearing a maroon red shirt and dark green pants.
