Midwest law enforcement crackdown on impaired driving


PRESS RELEASE (WKOW)-- Police agencies throughout the Midwest will be conducting a multi-state crackdown on impaired driving. 

The Interstate 94 Corridor Traffic Enforcement Project will feature high-visibility enforcement activity by multiple agencies in seven states over 1,500 miles of I-94. 

This project is scheduled for Friday, July 2 and Saturday, July 3 between 8:00 p.m.-4:00 a.m.

State, county, and local agencies from Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana will participate in the effort.

The effort is being conducted in conjunction with the "2010 Drunk Driving. Over the Limit. Under Arrest." impaired driving crackdown.
