WRIGHTSTOWN (WKOW) -- More than two dozen people needed to be evacuated from a Brown County campground because of flooding.
Heavy rain this week caused a creek that runs through the Apple Creek Campground to flood, causing water to reach 5 feet deep in some areas of the campground in the Green Bay area.
Apple Creek manager Pam Packee says most campers were in RVs during the flooding Thursday. Packee says it's been about 20 years since the last time the campground flooded.
