MADISON (WKOW) -- The 27 News Call for Action team is pleased to announce openings on our volunteer team.
WKOW is holding a volunteer recruitment phone bank today from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
Call for Action is a free service that helps viewers solve problems with businesses and government agencies.
Volunteers work as trained mediators to resolve consumer disputes involving a wide variety of issues and problems, including defective products, missing refund checks, payment errors, and other complex or challenging situations.
As a volunteer, you make a real difference in someone's life.
Callers contact us with complex problems they can't solve themselves. Sometimes, getting a $100 refund makes a big difference to a family's budget. You help make that possible.

WKOW provides training and resources.
All positions are volunteer. Volunteers must commit to work one day a week, the same day each week to provide consistency for callers.
