MADISON (WKOW) -- Fort McCoy plans to host the U.S. Army Reserve's fourth annual "Best Warrior" contest at the end of July.
Twenty-nine participants from around the country will compete in events such as essay writing, physical fitness tests, battle drills and day and night weapons qualification. The competition is scheduled for July 26 to 30.
The top solider and noncommissioned officer will compete in the U.S. Army's "Best Warrior" competition in October.
