UNDATED (WKOW) -- A bill on President Barack Obama's desk would beef up security on the Mexican border.
The Senate passed a $600 million measure to help officers stop the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs along the border. It will add about 1,500 border patrol, immigration and customs officials and expand the use of unmanned surveillance drones.
The House of Representatives approved the bill Tuesday.
